Commercial lighting controls. Across every location.
A commercial lighting control system for multi-site teams. Bring schedules, remote on/off control and equipment performance into the Monaire platform.

Keep lighting aligned with how each site operates
1
Standardize schedules
Bring daily lighting schedules into one platform, with site-specific hours for sales floors, signage and back-of-house areas.

2
Handle changes remotely
Respond to a change in operating hours or an approved override without asking someone to visit every controller.

3
Add other critical systems
Monitor electrical equipment, catch water leaks, control lighting loads and other switched circuits.

Lighting belongs in your facilities workflow
Manage lighting alongside HVAC/R and other critical systems in Monaire
Control lighting loads
Switch lighting loads from anywhere
Manage schedules
Use days of the week, operating-hours offsets or sunrise and sunset timing for the relevant lights.
Catch issues early
Monaire algorithms use Power & Energy use measurements to detect failed lighting loads
Resolve issues
Automated work orders help resolve issues without relying on in-store audits. Verify every repair.
Monaire Lighting Controller
Four control outputs. Measures Power & Energy use. Wireless Connectivity for easy install.
Built for the operators who manage many sites
Different industries have different loads and risk, but the portfolio problem is the same: too many assets, too little visibility, and too much reactive work.
How does the Monaire lighting controller work?
The Monaire Lighting Controller switches compatible lighting-control circuits from a DIN enclosure. Its four independent outputs allow separate circuit control, while Monaire connects lighting to building and equipment views, schedules and service history.
Can I manage lighting across multiple stores or buildings?
Yes. Monaire brings lighting from multiple buildings into one platform, helping facilities teams coordinate schedules and review site-specific operation. This supports portfolios such as restaurants, retail stores, convenience stores and fitness locations.
Can lighting schedules follow store hours, holidays or sunset?
Lighting schedules can be configured for days of the week and date ranges, with timing based on operating hours or sunrise and sunset offsets. This lets teams align lighting with each location’s hours and plan for seasonal changes or special operating dates.
Can different lighting areas have different schedules?
Yes. Compatible lighting circuits can be assigned to separate outputs and organized by building or area group. This allows areas such as sales floors, dining rooms and exterior lighting to follow different schedules when the installed wiring supports separate control.
Can staff temporarily override a lighting schedule?
Monaire supports on/off overrides for connected lighting. Where an end-of-day reset is configured, the override resets according to that setting. Teams should confirm the reset behavior for each site so temporary changes do not unintentionally carry into future operating days.
Does the controller support dimming or occupancy sensing?
The Monaire Lighting Controller provides on/off switching and scheduling for compatible circuits. Dimming and occupancy sensing require additional supported hardware and a separately defined deployment scope.
Can it control existing LED fixtures or 277 V lighting?
Compatibility depends on circuit voltage, load and startup current. The controller module is rated for 110–240 V AC and cannot directly switch a 277 V circuit. A qualified electrician must specify a compatible control and contactor arrangement where needed.
Does the controller measure all of my lighting energy use?
The controller measures the circuit connected to each output. If an output switches a contactor coil, its meter measures the coil circuit rather than the lighting load downstream. Separate metering is needed to measure downstream lighting energy.
How does the Monaire Lighting Controller connect to the platform?
The Monaire Lighting Controller connects to the platform through the Monaire AI Hub (cellular gateway). Monaire checks hub placement, cellular coverage and device connectivity as part of installation.
What is required to install and verify the lighting controller?
A qualified electrician should confirm circuit ratings, neutral availability, enclosure requirements and any contactors needed for the load. After installation, test each controlled lighting area and its schedule. A relay status or software acknowledgement alone does not prove that every fixture physically switched.
