Electrical equipment monitoring. Catch issues early.
Monitor exhaust fans, pumps, and other critical electrical equipment across your locations. Monaire tracks current and operating patterns to flag potential problems and automatically trigger work ordersโhelping your team resolve issues before they disrupt operations.

Give your team the ability to intervene early.
1
See operating patterns
Review readings against expected operating parameters to investigate equipment issues.

2
Detect issues early
Current trends allow Monaire algorithms to detect faults with pumps, compressors etc. Pair those signals with automated work orders and workflows.

3
Review resolution
Automatically verify if an equipment returns to normal operation after repairs.

Detect issues. Take action. Verify the fix.
Keep critical electrical equipment running with continuous monitoring, early alerts, and automated work orders.
Monitor equipment
Track current, voltage, power, and energy use to understand how equipment is operating. Remotely control supported loads.
Detect issues early
Monaire learns normal operating patterns and flags unusual changes that may indicate developing problems.
Automate work orders
Create work orders automatically with equipment details and supporting data, so technicians know what needs investigation.
Verify repairs
Automatically compare post-service readings against normal operating patterns to confirm the fixโor flag issues that still need attention.
Two ways to see electrical operation.
Match the monitor to the load, installation and measurement you need.

Plug-in Electrical Monitor
For compatible equipment powered from a standard outlet.

Four-Channel Current Monitor
For any electrical load
What each monitor tells you.
What is electrical equipment monitoring?
Electrical equipment monitoring uses readings such as current, power or energy to help facilities teams understand equipment operation. Monaire connects readings to a named asset and building so teams can investigate unexpected operating patterns with the right site context.
What is the difference between a plug-in monitor and a current sensor?
A compatible plug-in monitor sits between an outlet and its load and measures voltage, current, power and energy. A current sensor uses external current transformers on selected equipment feeds and reports AC current. Choose the device according to the load, installation and measurement you need.
Which electrical equipment can Monaire monitor?
Suitable current-sensor installations can monitor feeds serving pumps, air compressors, exhaust fans and make-up air units. Plug-in monitoring is available for compatible outlet-powered loads. Each installation must match the device ratings, current-transformer range and equipment characteristics.
Can a current sensor measure electricity use in kWh?
The Monaire Four-Channel Current Monitor measures AC current. It does not directly measure kW or kWh. True power also depends on voltage and power factor, and energy accumulates over time. The Monaire Plug-in Electrical Monitor measures power and energy at its connected load.
How many equipment feeds can a current monitor cover?
The Monaire Four-Channel Current Monitor accepts up to four external current transformers. Channels are assigned to selected equipment feeds according to the electrical configuration. Current-transformer range, aperture and scaling must match each conductor and expected load.
Can I use the plug-in monitor with motors or compressors?
Load compatibility must be checked before installation. The Monaire Plug-in Electrical Monitor is rated for compatible 120 V, 60 Hz loads, with a maximum of 15 A or 1,800 W for resistive loads. That resistive rating does not establish suitability for a motor or compressor.
Can Monaire identify equipment that is running unexpectedly?
Current trends can help teams investigate equipment that appears to run outside expected hours or remain off when it should operate. Configured current thresholds can flag readings that need attention. These signals should be interpreted alongside normal equipment behavior and site conditions.
Can electrical monitoring diagnose a fault or protect the circuit?
Current and operating trends support earlier investigation, but they do not diagnose every failure. Monaire electrical monitors do not replace motor current signature analysis, on-site diagnosis, circuit breakers or protective relays.
How often are current readings reported?
The Monaire Four-Channel Current Monitor reports readings at the interval configured for your deployment. Current thresholds and alert settings are configured for the equipment and monitoring goals.
What installation and connectivity are required?
The Monaire Plug-in Electrical Monitor needs a compatible load and a dry indoor location. The Monaire Four-Channel Current Monitor requires qualified installation of current transformers on individual conductors. Both connect through the Monaire AI Hub (cellular gateway). Each reading is mapped to the correct equipment and checked during normal operation.
